This summer was all too real. We took a family trip and flew to Las Vegas Nevada. I never expected us to go there. We saw so many things, like, Paris hotel, The Bellagio, the Venetian, Caesars Palace, and so much more. My Parents went to see Hoover Dam I did not want to spend a whole day there so instead Janelle took me to Henderson Nevada to go shopping. Our Mall compared to that mall looked callow. Of course we did not just want to shop we wanted to sight see.
While in Vegas we took a ‘little’ drive down the strip it took us almost two whole hours to drive. But at least we got to see what it looked like we wanted to see the Freemont Street experience. When we got there the light show had just begun. This year’s show was about queen and the summer of ’69. It was so late we were tired and ready to go to our hotel and lie by the pool. We will never go back to that hotel. It was not very clean we weren’t comfortable there. So we spent little time there. We wanted to see a show but the closest we got to that was the Freemont Street experience. We all had fun I would love to go again. My Dad on the other hand would not. But all came to an end to soon.
This Labor Day weekend I got to go to Life Light. Life Light is a free Christian music festival. This year I got to go back stage. A few of my favorite bands were playing. Super Chic[k] was playing along with Pigeon John, John Ruben, Family Force 5, TFK, and more (even though some of my favorite bands didn’t come). I got to see old friends and family. My cousin Shade and his mom Bethany came out from Ohio. Not only did I expand my faith here but by gazing into the sky
Summer is like the last sunset before the first day of school. It is so surreal. You don’t want it to be here already. Summer was too short. School came too soon. I never wanted that last sunset to happen. Not in Vegas at Life Light or on the Last day of summer. I wished on a shooting star for it never to end. Hoping that the pine cone stay forever.
I only have two toilets in the house so I guess that makes me a liar. I really liked the photoblog style you have. I hope to do that with mine as soon as the pictures from my last blog are sent!
